The children’s section of Copenhagen Main Library on the second floor is a great activity for a rainy day. The play area for younger children has a selection of toys, puzzles, digital games and dressing up clothes. There is no need to worry about children making noise and snacks can be consumed in the area. Everything is at child level so kids can explore independently. The section contains both fiction and non-fiction on a large number of subjects, and in many different languages. It offers picture books, novels for young people, audiobooks, comics for children, music, films and games. You can play Wii and they also have PCs and iPads for children.

Sarah is the creator of Mini CPH. Mother of two mini explorers Sarah moved to Copenhagen from London several years ago with a very tall Danish husband. She created Mini CPH as a place to share information in English on activities for families in Copenhagen. In 2013 Sarah moved to the home of LEGO in Billund. She loves the challenge of working between London, Copenhagen and Billund as a content manager and social media consultant.
