The playground at Nikolaj Plads is one of Copenhagen’s art playgrounds which have been designed by Danish contemporary artists to re-imagine the classic playground. It’s just off Støget (Copenhagen’s main shopping street) so it’s a good one to remember when the kids need to stretch their legs if you are out shopping. It also has a toddler swing as well as slide, normal swing and climbing frames. There is plenty of shade and the area is away from the main hustle and bustle. Don’t forget to look for the famous owl.
